Munson Hospice, the second-oldest hospice program in Michigan, is the area's only community hospice. Our goal is to help people who are no longer seeking a cure find peace, joy, and comfort during the final phase of their life.
We offer help and support to the patient and family while treating the person, not only the disease. Care is focused on family needs and treatment revolves around the medical, physical, personal, emotional, and spiritual needs for patient comfort rather than cure.
The longer you are able to use Munson Hospice services, the greater the benefit for you and your family. We can answer questions, be a listening ear, and provide care, so that you can focus on enjoying the end of the journey together.
Anyone can make a referral to hospice, including physicians, family members, clergy, or health professionals. Munson Hospice can be reached by calling 1-800-252-2065, or a physician may write a Hospice order if the patient is hospitalized.
